This policy explains what personal information Corse Control Ltd. collects through this website, corsecontrol.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only, not the Corse Control and Pit Anywhere apps used at track events.

Who we are

Corse Control Ltd. is a company based at 35 John Street, Suite 2E204, Toronto, Ontario M5V 3G6, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information collected on this site. You can reach us about privacy through the form on our home page, or by mail at that address.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical information any website receives.

When you use the demo request form: your name, email address, company name, telephone number, type of business, and your message.
When you visit any page: the servers that deliver the site record standard technical details, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. This is normal for every website and is used to keep the site running and secure.
Through Google Analytics: Google records how the site is used, such as the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location. It uses cookies to do this.
Through Google Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.

We don’t use advertising trackers or social media plugins. To stop Google Analytics from recording your visits, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on or block cookies in your browser.

How we use it

To reply to your request, arrange a demo, or follow up on what you asked about.
To keep records of our conversations with prospective and current customers.
To keep the website working and protect it from misuse.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent. Any marketing email we send will follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation and include a way to unsubscribe.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run this website and receive your messages:

Graivy Inc., which hosts this website and runs the service that sends demo requests to us.
Microsoft, which delivers those messages and provides part of our hosting.
Google, which hosts our email and provides the site’s fonts and analytics.
Cloudflare, which checks that the form is being used by a person and not an automated program.

They handle this information to provide those services, under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.

Where it’s stored

Our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, the information is subject to the laws of that country, and may be accessible to its courts and authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete them. We keep server logs only for as long as we need them to keep the site running and secure.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy,
correct information that is wrong,
delete your information, or stop using it for a purpose you agreed to.

Send us a message through the form on our home page or write to us at the address below, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit who at Corse Control can see messages sent through it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information, such as passwords or payment details, through the form.

Children

This website is meant for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page.
